  The hotel was an excellently converted building in the historic walls, our room was large, well furnished and really outstanding and the views of the old town with the Sierras in the distant background are very scenic The public areas were spacious and tastefully restored. The breakfast had a good choice of bread, meat, cheese, fruit (what else w... wat mensen zeggen » ould you want!) and the juice and coffee were fresh., Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and could not want for better. Much better prices than - Lovely accomodation and very friendly owner/manager. We had an enjoyable time and would recommend.   Just returned from a touring holiday of Andalucia and the Casa San Jose was without doubt the best of the six hotels we stayed in during our visit. The hotel is a cross between a hotel, a palace and family home and will not disappoint anyone who walks in through the front door - this place certainly has the wow factor! The decor is exquisite and ... wat mensen zeggen » typical of a Spanish home - the overall ambiance is helped by the very friendly and helpful owners who could not do anymore to make our stay highly en - The Casa San Jose is a fantastic small hotel. It has been the family home of the owner for over 30 years and is filled with beautiful old furniture and objets d'art. The house is built round a typical Cordoban patio and is spacious and very comfortable. You are asked to make yourself at home.The breakfast is excellent and varied with fresh fruit and an ample Continental breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful. They gave excellent advice about places to eat and exploring the local area.

  We used San Pablo as a base from which to explore Sevilla, Grenada, Malaga, and Cordoba. It was fairly convenient for us and the one bedroom with kitchen was great. There were a couple of long days driving but we were happy to have one place to come back to. I also appreciated the washing machine in the room. - Just about everything. Excellent value for money inc. breakfast. Super-friendly and helpful staff. Modern, clean, well-equipped apartment. Excellent location on edge of town centre, a 10 mins walk to main square. Restaurant on ground floor. ps: don't leave Ecija without visiting the stunning Roman mosaics and statue of a wounded Amazon in museum in the Palacio de Benameji, next door to the Turismo.
