  Excellent location in the middle of old town. Short walk to Cathedral and Palace Alcazar. Next to tapas bars. Check Teresa bar opposite for delicious tapas and try local 'tinto de verano' drink which is a mix of wine with lemon. The hostal is located in a very old house so ready for a piece of history. Place is clean and quiet, friendly staff. This place has - The place had loads of character, we loved the quirky shapes and designs of the place and our room was delightful, and there are some lovely public spaces. The location was absolutely brilliant, right in the heart of Santa Cruz and close to the cathedral. It was amazing to get such good value accommodation in this spot. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay here. The facilities are basic, but for people on a budget, the Vergara is a cut above.

  Superb location - right in the centre of Seville next to the cathedral. Many bars/restaurants around. Staff very friendly. Good value for money. Seville is probably the best city in Spain - and I have visited almost every major city. - The room was all you'd expect for the price, with a decent shower.   Splendid, beautiful and cosy hostel. The indoor patio is like a cinema setup and every night when I got back to my room to rest, I was instantly relaxed... Location was a bit tricky at first but then it's very conveniently situated next to a park, to the Alcazar, to shops/restaurants/ laundromat, taxi stand. VERY quiet area and very safe! Everything is well within walking distance. Our room (ground floor facing the patio) was quiet and cleaned daily. We found the matresses were fine (firm, though). Save entrance, kind staff, good Wi-Fi connection, both in our room and on the patio. Breakfast is not included, but there are very affordable and good breakfast bars around the corner.

  It is a very nice hotel located in the heart of downtown Barrii de Santa Cruz, the most beautiful and historic zone in Sevilla and 6 mins to the Catedraly Giralda by walking. Clean and comfortable room. Many bars and restaurants nearby that closed very late at night. Highly recommened! - Actually after the first night, I wanted to leave but my wife convinced me to use ear plugs. And we stayed 4 nights even though the room was small. But the hotel is a typical charming little cozy building, at the entrance of the great Santa Cruz sector, a walking distance to the Cathedral and just above a lively resto, pub and street. So expect noise at night.

  The couple that runs this place is so lovely and helpful. Even though they hardly spoke any English, they really tried to connect with me and my friend in English and even bought us breakfast (churros!) on our last day!! I would totally recommend this place as it is right smack in the city centre and a skip away from the Cathedral, Alcazar, Plaza ... wat mensen zeggen » de Espana and other sights. - The manager was incredibly friendly, and the evening was surprisingly quiet (the Pensión is located in Barrio de Santa Cruz, a VERY lively night location).

  We liked service a lot, the receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The hostal is near the main sight seeings of the city and the train station. It was comfortable for us to stay there.
