  Apartment was excellent. It was on the top floor of block with a large roof terrace. Modern, spacious and well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine which for a longer stay was handy. Its not like a normal rental as the majority of the apartments are lived in by locals so the place has a much more permanent feel.   July 2013. We had a great time at this pension. We called ahead to say we would be late and the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some can speak English. When we arrived the staff could not speak English but communicated through a translator app!! The location is excellent, 5 mins walk from the centre of las Ramblas and a metro stop. The - Loved the staff, even though only one of them speaks English, but since he's there every day at day time, I had no problem asking for help. My room was cleaned every day, which for a hostel is pleasantly surprising. The location is good as in in the center - two minute walk to La Rambla and ten minute walk to the port. Plaça de Catalunya with the AeroBus is within 5 min too, so transfers to/from the airport could never be easier The AC worked perfectly, fridge, shower, wifi etc - all good

  It's a very nice place to stay in when you're in Barcelona. The location of the apartment is convenient especially if you're going in summer season because the seaside is less then 5 minutes walk and if you want to discover city famouse landmarks it won't take long to get to the city center using metro line l4. There are a lot of local restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » and cafes in Poblenou neighbourhood. Also there are a several supermarkets and convinient stores nearby. This neighbourhood seems very quit and safet - It's really a home away from home. We immediately settled in and found the location very ideal as everything we need for a week's stay is just round the corner. Easy connection on the Metro is about 8mins walk(safe to travel at night as the neighbourhood is well-lit). Food is abundance esp along Poblenou on La Rambla street which is 5mins walk away.If you prefer to cook,many supermarkets are avail.Merkat(local huge supermarket/Sun close) is only 5mins away and local fresh poultry,seafood,fruits
