  The hotel is situated just 5 minutes from the beach and the metro. The stop of Bus Turistic is just on the next street. There are many small food shops not far from the hotel. The view from the windows is great (even if you live on the 3rd floor). The stuff was great! Very helpful!   This was my second stay at the hotel this year and the hotel provides everything I need. Good price compared to UK travelodges, Good Location, Good Transport links, clean rooms, which are good size even for 3 adults sharing, the breakfast was good and the bar menu was also good for snacks. We arrived at the hotel very early and had the option to either have the room early - Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location.   everything was oke.the breakfast excelent and the staf was very kind en helpfull - We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars. I had to book this hotel at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstances, and I was over the moon with my choice. Very relaxing atmosphere and for the price I got it, you can not go wrong!!!!
