  1. The room was very clean, the maid cleaned the room every day although we left the room at 12 mid day or later. 2. The hotel is very modern and looks stylish. 3. The airport is about 17 km (10 miles) away. The shuttle to the airport is very cheap and very fast (~20 min). It costs 8 euros/person and if you want to take the aerobus it costs 5.9 eu... wat mensen zeggen » ros/person and it takes about 35 min but you will probably need a metro ticket to catch the bus and this is 2 euros/person so by bus + metro is 7.9 eu - I warmly recommend NH Diagonal Center for any kind of trip (if it’s for one day or for 10 days…/ if business or just joy) Location - perfect for reaching the beach (15 min walk); 2 metro stations nearby - from there you are in the city center in 5 min Area - looks an industrial one, but it’s safe and unique Building (out and in) - modern and clean Personal – nice and helpful …and Barcelona… the most wonderful city….

  Het hotel is mooi en modern ingericht en zeer dichtbij de metro (5 min lopen) en het strand. Het personeel was heel erg vriendelijk en bij vragen waren ze altijd zeer behulpzaam. Onze kamer was lekker ruim en altijd schoon. De minibar was altijd gevuld en wij konden alles gratis pakken. Zij hHet was ook altijd stil in de kamer, wij hebben niets van... wat mensen zeggen » de verbouwingen in de buurt van het hotel gehoord - Zeer positief : dranken minibar inbegrepen, ontbijtbuffet : zeer uitgebreid en de diners uitstekend verzorgd. In de zeer matige prijs van het 3-gangenmenu was water,wijn en zelfs koffie inbegrepen. Dekamers waren zeer ruimen mooi ingericht, kortom het was een zeer stijlvol hotel dat op alle gebied zijn 4 sterren waard is.

Good price compared to UK travelodges, Good Location, Good Transport links, clean rooms, which are good size even for 3 adults sharing, the breakfast was good and the bar menu was also good for snacks. We arrived at the hotel very early and had the option to either have the room early - Staff were lovely always very helpful. Hotel is a in walk from the llacuna metro stop and it's about 10mins into las ramblas! The area itself is lovely right on la rambla poblenou which is full of bars and restaurants and leads down to the sea front from there it's a stroll to the Olympic port which has more bar clubs and restaurants we loved our stay and the location.   everything was oke.the breakfast excelent and the staf was very kind en helpfull - We only had one night in this hotel and then moved to a 5 star in the Port Olympic area. The location of the Colonial hotel was fantastic. Across the street is a fantastic local area full of interesting resteraunts and bars.
