Wonderful stay. Central location in the beautiful and charismatic Gothic quarter, walking distance to Las Ramblas and the beach.Very friendly owners, provided with useful information and map. Also requested flight details so could greet us when we arrived, and provided very useful directions and map from Airport. Also free Wifi. Would highly recommend Mapamundo, thanks for a loverly hostel.

Great Value, Excellent location 100 yds, in a Lane from The Rambla, very clean with fresh paint, and a good size bedroom and bathroom, also fridge, staff were helpful. Value for money. It is a student house which works as the hotel over the summer, so as expected the room was basic, but it had everything I need like private kitchen and bathroom. So yes it is basic but cheap, clean and in good conditions and only 15 minutes walking to the beach. -

Excellent positioning - 2 min on foot from a shopping
area/Starbucl/Universitat Metro and max 10-15 min on foot from
Placa de Catalunya and La rambla. It saves you a lot of time if you want
to visit places and don't like to spend too much time in the subway

We enjoyed our stay here! Very homely and the staff we very accommodating especially with all our tourist questions. Very close to Las Ramblas and all the fun. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to do Barcelona on the cheap. -
