  Rooms are built within an appartement building giving you the feeling of having your own city loft. We had room 4 with a spacious patio overlooking the university building. Beautiful combination of old tile floors with authentic design. It is a hostel but the beds are really comfortable, have luxurious sheets and everything is brand new, clean and... wat mensen zeggen » well finished. The hostel is very centrally located at the placa de la universidad and placa de Catalunya is at walking distance. The area surroundin - Very warm welcome from Carlos which continued throughout our stay-couldnt have been more helpful. Room was a small Eco only but perfect for our two night stay as not needing a room to spend time in other than as a base. Wonderful bed and best sleep I've had for ages in hotel room (travel a lot with work). Great large shower- rain effect and seperate hand held. Lovely touch of free tea and coffee available for guests and a light breakfast provided (not mentioned when booking). Fab location- two

  The hostal was ok, nothing luxurious but clean and comfortable. The facility is located on a house and has the reception on the second floor and the rooms on the fifth floor. This was not optimal since one has to ring a bell on the fifth floor to get the main door opened there (the receptionist opens the door from the second floor by watching on a... wat mensen zeggen » video camera located on the fifth floor). It happened that I had to ring the bell at least 10 times before getting the door opened. Apart from that t - Booked a single room. Small but wasn't expecting much. Good wifi in reception (2nd floor) but nothing in room. Very good location, very good value (paid £24 per night), not much noise from nearby bathroom but you may want to take earplugs

  Having stayed in hostels all over the world & expecting a very basic experience (given that I was paying less than 22 € for a night), I was absolutely amazed with the quality of Wow Hostel. Great breakfast in the morning, clean showers and a kitchen you can use. Everything was wonderful!. I would have paid double. The staff was extremely friendly. We made it to the hostel early in the morning and they let me in our room before check in time. I even got my laundry done for a small fee and had my clean clothes on my bed when I got back in the evening. Very central location close to everything, especially Barcelona's famous Rambla Catalunya.
