  Easy to find the hotel because it is just in front of the Catedral. A few minutes walk to the historical town centre and Renfe station. Staff is also very friendly. I did not know the reception is not open at seven o'clock in the morning. I have left a memo for room charge and when I arrived at Barcelona early afternoon I phoned to the manager for expl - Staff were very friendly and readily accommodated our request to change rooms so that we were away from a busy road. The room and bathroom were scrupulously clean. Centrally located, within walking distance to everything including the railway station, just a 10 minute walk away, with luggage.

  We spent the day in San Sebastian on the worst of possible days: terribly cold, rainy, stormy weather and the famous strike with everything imaginable closed: no bar or restaurant open to get a drink or lunch! Then we got to pension Garate and a most helpful and friendly young lady who spoke English very well welcomed us. The lady booked for us dinner closeby at restaurant Narru (from hotel Niza- an - The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony, which was great. The accommodation was in an excellent location, very close to the beach, and walking distance to all of the sights of San Sebastian. The staff were extremely helpful. I was feeling unwell the day after we arrived, and the lady at the Pension directed us to a very good medical centre. The staff also agreed to allow us to pick up our bags late in the evening (after we had checked out), due to us having to catch a late overnigh

  Javier who was the point of contact and person in charge at Pension was one of the highlights of the entire trip to San Sebastian. He was very helpful telling us exactly where to go to get a round and had a great sense of humor. We had a great stay at Pension and have already recommended a number of friends to stay there! Thanks Javier and Pension... wat mensen zeggen » ! Also we survived the bulls! =) - EVERYTHING!!!!! The location was perfect. We had the most beautiful walk across the bridge into old town everyday. The staff did EVERYTHING possible to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The rooms were nice and big and cozy. Coffee from the machine in the lounge was great and convenient. The value was outstanding. We will stay here when in San Sebastian:)))))

  The woman who runs (owns?) the Pension is delightful - warm, welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bathroom roomy, with a really great shower! We had twin beds and they were comfy. There was a safe and a small refrigerator in the room, stocked with a couple of complimentary bottles of water (not often seen in small, affordable... wat mensen zeggen » , European hotels).WiFi was available for free. - Great lady at reception.   Loved this pension! They upgraded us to a massive corner room which had a separate lounge area with tv and numerous little balconies. This pension is very clean and has great staff that are very very helpful and will even draw on a map all the tapas bars they regularly go to. It's close to the old town and 5 mins walk to the beach. Best value for money I have ever - It' s komfortable, small and lovely. Quite clean and very good equiped, stylish interior, qualty material. Parkinghouse is near, five minutes to walk. Special discounted voucher has been provided by the hotel. In next corner great bakeri and this block has bustling nightlife because of cafes and hambar. Staff is friendly!:)
