Great location. Staff kind and helpful, but doesn't speak english. Clean, didn't see any bug in our room and bathroom during 3 nights.

The hostel is brand new and very cozy and clean and modern design. I booked online for 1 night but extended my stay for 3 more. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. They give you great information about what to. The recommendations on food and music was awesome. I love my stay and will definitely stay at there again. -

Central location is perfect for walking all over town. It is right by
Placa Catalyna where the buses from the airport arrive and metro station
as well as trains out of Barca. Our second stay we were given room 202
which is a double with on-suite bath and a balcony onto main street.
People watching was great fun. Lots of flags hanging from balcony.

Abraham day staff was so lovely, very jolly and helpful. It is a bit
dilapidated but I didn't mind that. If you want uber posh it's
not for you. -
The staff was generally friendly/helpful. The Day staff are more
english helpful/friendly, the night staff generally doesn't know
anything other than Spanish & a lot stricter, but was the same at
all my friends hostels anyways. Good price & great location. Was
very quiet as needed too.

That place so close to Casa Batillo, my room was so small, but
comfortable and clean. Service was super polite, speak many languages, I
can speak with them english, spanish and even russian. Big thanks to a
girl in reception Katya. Super polite, super kind, told me where to go,
what to visit at that time and really is so so nice person. I can
imagine who is the boss of hotel if they have such a wonderful staff!

Staff were friendly, polite. Was simple and easy to check in, no fuss at all. The place was spotless all the time, daily service of beds being made never disturbed us. Shared bathroom was not an issue at all, as there was a toilet, shower room and bath/shower room right outside our door. Amazing central location for the price, literally 10 seconds

The location couldn't have been any better for access to Las Rambla, bus stop, restaurants, and even a small market where we could buy water, drinks, snacks. If you like to walk, close enough to walk to beach and other sites in Barcelona. The shared bathroom facilities were never a problem; access to computer and printer a plus. Staff were all great to answer questions in English. Would stay again if ever back in the area.

Location was fantastic, read alot of poor reviews before visiting Sant Carlo but it was perfectly fine. My partner and I had a double room with our own bathroom. It's within walking distance from Catalunya square (where a bus runs from the airport every 10-20 minutes for only about 6 euro a person) and the staff are beyond excellent. The hotel appears to be residential apartments that have just been renovated to a very high grade 'Art Deco' standard. The room was large with a very high ceiling and nicely appointed and the bathroom good and brightly tiled. Our room had large old doors that opened to a balcony on the street....very nice. The staff were exceptionally helpful with suggestions about sightseeing and restaurants , and helped greatly in receiving/printing and sending some unexpected business e-mails for me. Brea

Run by a really nice guy called Jose and his lovely mother, they were very helpful and could not fault them for their hospitality.
