  We recently stayed here for a last minute night in Barcelona due to French airstrikes sending us via spain. Clearly we wanted something central close to some nightlife and most of all cheap! This hostel is a gem it was spotless and really modern. Security was fantastic and although the only room left was with a shared bathroom it was right opposit... wat mensen zeggen » e our room and only shared with staff non of whom we even saw, and to cap it all it was sparkling clean. I will return or recommend to anyone value fo - Lovely architecture, marble winding staircase and old wooden doors, clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff. TV on the wall. Lots of information available about Barcelona. Shared bathroom wasn't such an issue for a short stay (1 night).

  Excellent location -literally 5 minutes walk from the centre of Barcelona. Very reasonably priced for a city centre location. Staff were excellent - very friendly and accomodating. Hotel is well equipped - it's a basic hotel with modern decor and is very clean. Laptops and a printer. Breakfast - teas and coffees with muffins. Basic but a n - The hostal is really clean. The location is perfect. In front of the metro station, but staying at Hostal Q you dont need to use the metro, because the hostal is really near of everything you will visit. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room was really confortable and clean. The hostal looks to be very new, wich is good. The shower is perfect. For sure the best shower I used in Europe!! They have elevator, computers and small kitchen that makes your life easier. I really recomend

  the location was perfect, right in the center of placa de catalunia. very nice hopsitality, always clean rooms and bathrooms. romms small but just perfect for travellers who use the room only for spending the night, but rather prefer to walk on the streets and reach every part of the city so easily. cause since you're in the center, you can easily... wat mensen zeggen » reach everywhere by walking, metro, buses or taxis. - Lucho is very friendly and welcomin person, but he also gave us space and waited for us to come to speak to him rather than the other way around. Hostel was clean and situation perfect, not in a bad area at all. You can watch the police men walk under your balcony in a quite busy street :) I will definitely stay here also the next time I´m in Barcelona!

  I'm not sure why they call this a hostel? I felt like it was more an inn. The attention to details were very nice. Greeted with a glass of Sangria upon arrival. Chocolate on your night stand. The owner is an antiques collector. Hence the name. Be in mind, it is filled with them!! It can be a bit overwhelming at first. You get used it. Easy access to ev - Was looking for a last minute booking for weekend trip to Barcelona & chose L' Antic Espai due to reviews. Happily I can only agree & add to the positive vibe - it was a perfect little room (little is true but it was ample), brilliant location, amazing breakfast and fantastic staff, Danny in particular living up to his online reputation. Our trip would not have been as blessed without his knowledge & help. Highly recommended

  The hotel is completely new. We had the room facing the pool area(cons of the street). The room was very clean with comfortable beds, with enough space, free juices and water in the refrigerator, tea and coffee maker with coffee and tea bags (refilled every day) and with very nice and clean bathroom. It was very quiet, except few evenings when som... wat mensen zeggen » e guests were having fun in the pool area till 1.30. Near the hotel there are more than few restaurants where you can eat well at a reasonable price. - The rooms are nicely decorated, the hotel has its own personality, every room is decorated differently. We had a room on the top floor and it came with a large terasse and sunbeds. The bed was perfect, not too hard, not too soft. Location is great, just one block from Passeig de Gracia and Plaza Catalunya. Close to the lively tourist area, but still in a less crowded, noisy neighbourhood. Food at breakfast was good, large variety, it's only a cold breakfast. The hotel is brand new, we stayed on
