A shared kitchen allowed cooking own meals, staff spoke perfect english and was very helpful - they even made some calls to solve a problem that happened to us while visiting another hotel. Our room was quite small but clean, functional and nice. -
The pension is staffed at almost all hours of the day, so felt safe.

The hostel is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood that gives you a great feel of life in the city. The metro is barely 5mins walk and connects you straight to the city in 15mins.

It's a great, nice and cozy, place :) The owners are open and
friendly and they keep the place clean. We had a great time watching
the celebration of the lights at Horta streets, from the roof-top
terrace. We also liked the fact that the hostel was peacefull and quiet
althought it was fully booked. A big plus is the well equiped kitchen
and good acces to wi-fi. The hostel is close to metro station and there
are few shops nearby - but it may be hard to buy something during
siesta or on Sunday.

I would like to stress out how Tina and Jose have been nice, helpful and
welcoming. If you want luxury and 5 stars hotel feeling: well: book one
and pay the price for it but do not moan about this little B&B that
is clean enough, convenient enough, run by nice people and cheap!!!

Hosts were lovely! Tina was very helpful. Provided us straight away with bus information a map and suggestions for places to visit. Room was big with a table and fridge. Breakfast was self serve with plenty to choose from. Excellent location for Gaudi tours and Guell Park. Everything we did was in walking distance. Easy to get train to airport from this spot too. Tina also provided a cheap laundry service which made things so easy! Beds were firm which was fine for us but may bother others.

It's like a house where you can do whatever you want. If you do not have money enough, you can even cook. There is a big supermarket 3 streets away from the hotel. I like everything very much. The services is great. The rooms were allways clean (the towels changed every day) and confortable. The location of the hostal Oliveta is very convienent. Just couple minutes from metro station Parallel, also you can easily reach the old quarter, La Ramblas on foot. It will take 10-15 minutes to walk.

Stayed for 8 days, in the beginning, the hotel was the mistakes, and they booked us a room to other guests were settled, we proposed a more modest room, two days later freed ours, previously reserved room. The hotel made a discount for the mistake. The location is great. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Cleanliness and order o f the room
