  The staff, very friendly,helpful and always taking time to speak to guests.The girls serving breakfast were a delight to meet, always smiling and starting the day with a lovely good morning and how are you today mr.James.Hotel location in Stellenbosch is very central and although i didn't have a car the private parking is good for those who do as ... wat mensen zeggen » the street parking may be difficult. Stellenbosch is a lovely place to visit and to sample some very good wine and food. - The whole stay was very pleasant with friendly, efficient staff, comfortable room, lovely courtyard for breakfasts, drinks or just to sit and enjoy. Our room was spacious with small balcony overlooking the pool which was very welcome on hot days.

  After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. A really... wat mensen zeggen » good choice to stay. Garden and House are well cared for and could be just out of "House & Garden". Our host Teresa is a happy recipient of your - Outstanding. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

  Esther made sure our stay was very comfortable from arranging airport pickups and suggesting local activities such as the Blaauklippen Market, Wine Tasting and Lunch at Hidden Valley Winery, etc. In addition the golf course was good and had an a very picturesque setting and will truly memorable and need I say more about the 2008 Shiraz.
