  After a day on the road coming to the "Vineyard" is like paradise. We were upgraded to the garden suite at no further cost and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Literally 10 minute drive from Stellenbosch and 3 minutes away from Somerset West this is a good location for outings - or just to relax in the lovely garden and on the spacious pool. Theresa and Coete are utterly charming hosts: they gave me medicine and helped nurse me when I had sunstroke, gave my wife a blanket to keep her warm at the rugby and lent us their gps to get there. Beautiful accommodation, really comfy bed and option to dine on site. More like staying with friends than a B&B.

  In November 2009 I spent 2 weeks in this lovely place of an old Victorian style. Everything was absolutely perfect: large room, super convenient bed, delicious breakfast outside, very clean.   The house was beautiful, roomy and welcoming. Rosie is an amazing hostess who always has a smile and is willing to go the extra mile to please her guests. - We had a wonderful stay. It is close to other beautiful wine estates, with very good restaurants, not far from Cape Town if you want to go to the city, but far enough from crowds if you want to relax.   The staff was exceptional and the place is absolutely stunning. Apart from the bathroom the rooms are cosy and comfortable (and well equipped). The atmosphere is relaxed which we enjoyed very much.   Staff at Reception was extremely helpful and friendly. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great.
