  Werkelijk op alle fronten een prima hotel! Maar dat mag ook wel want het is volgens Zuid Afrikaanse normen een zeer prijzig hotel. Maar zowel, kamer, restaurant, personeel, etc. was perfect in orde. - Due to the off season period it was very quite. A bit artificial but a beautiful place to be. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Stellenbosch is a lovely place to visit and to sample some very good wine and food. - The whole stay was very pleasant with friendly, efficient staff, comfortable room, lovely courtyard for breakfasts, drinks or just to sit and enjoy. Our room was spacious with small balcony overlooking the pool which was very welcome on hot days.

  Staff at Reception was extremely helpful and friendly. As I was travelling alone, the fact that the room was so close to reception, was great. The lodge is located superbly - close to town, but still with all the lovely views of the mountains (which was covered with snow the next morning)! - everything, lovely stay will recommend it to people, so... wat mensen zeggen » accomodating with early check in, nothing was to much trouble for the staff. breakfast was great, very pleasant stay overall!

  The staff was exceptional and the place is absolutely stunning. Apart from the bathroom the rooms are cosy and comfortable (and well equipped). The atmosphere is relaxed which we enjoyed very much. The main house is amazing, the beautiful pool and BBQ area were just incredible. You couldn't get a better view. Def coming back and great value for money.

  Esther made sure our stay was very comfortable from arranging airport pickups and suggesting local activities such as the Blaauklippen Market, Wine Tasting and Lunch at Hidden Valley Winery, etc. In addition the golf course was good and had an a very picturesque setting and will truly memorable and need I say more about the 2008 Shiraz.
