  June was the most friendliest hostess we ever have had! She had beach equipment (chairs, surf board, mask+snorkel, coolers) which we lent to Cape Vidal. On our early birding morning she prepared lunch boxes even for the guide. Breakfast was excellent and it occurred with few other guests around round table where we shared our travel stories. That... wat mensen zeggen » increased the cozy atmosphere even further. The honeymoon suite was very spacious with small jacuzzi. Car wash, tours etc were arranged smoothly as - The owner June went out of her way to ensure we experienced everything St lucia had to offer. She arranged tours, coolers and anything else needed to make our experience something to remember. A wonderful hostess, relaxed atmosphere and lovely breakfast too.

  We liked Everything about Lodge Afrique! Tessa, Cindy and the rest of the staff treated us so well we asked if we could move in! We were planning onIy a one night stay but liked it so much we stayed two. I give them 10 out of 10. The rooms are very comfortable and homey! The surrounding garden is serene and relaxing. Or at least - Spacious huts amidst beautiful tropical gardens. Nice areas outside to sit and relax. Staff is very welcoming and hospitable. Tenants included people from Asia, Europe, South Africa and USA. They close the gate at dusk, so make sure you take your keys.   We really enjoyed our stay there. Our hosts where just great to talk to. Very friendly and knowlegeable on the area. He greated us with a refreshing drink and took the time to tell us about the area, the good restaurants and what to visit. He provided us with a local maps and great tips for local tours. The breakfas - This is a excellent property in every way. We stayed in a room with a private entrance and small terrace overlooking the garden. It was a treat to wake each morning to the sounds of birds in the trees and sun filtering through the window. The room was well appointed, extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated.   The service we received from Robin, the manageress, was unbelievable. She really went out of her way to make us feel at home. She even made late special arrangements for a breakfast pack on the last day because we had to leave early, even though we only asked her to do this very late the previous evening.   Afrikaya is so nice, Joyce gives plenty of information about St-Lucia, it is also a good place to stay if you want to do a safari in the Hluwehluwe park. This park is even better than Krugerpark! Make sure you book with Eurozulu, they will pick you up at Afrikaya at 5 am to take you to the park with an experienced guide (we had Zamani) he knows wh... wat mensen zeggen » ere to find the animals and gives you a lot of information.   We had the most wonderfull appartement we ever had in South Africa. We were staying in number 32? It was Zabia her appartement really beautifull... It's on the edge of the village but the place is so small that everything is really near. And it's a short drive to the beach.
