  We were greeted so warmly on arrrival, it felt like really anything would be fine and do able for them. We were blown away by the views and the small details like ferrero rocher chocolates on our pillows. breakfast in the morning out on the stoep was stunning and really tasty.   The owners of the Melvin Houser are fantastic... we arrived late at night, 2 days ahead of our reservation, due to travel changes, and not only did they allow us to change our reservation right then, but they were lovely about it and so warm and helpful, even letting us hop on their personal computer to cancel our Joburg hotel that night.Breakfast... wat mensen zeggen » was lovely, and the location is great...just a short walk to the Union Buildings. - I would recommend Melvin Residence to anyone on business or taking kids to University in Pretoria. The welcome is always warm and friendly, the situation is convenient, quiet and peaceful despite being in the city. Piet is always helpful and efficient with any queries.
