  33 on first is a wonderful guest house, with a very beautiful decoration, very friendly staff, really tasteful breakfast and located in the best neighborhood of Johannesburg (safe and quiet, but with many options of restaurants and bars). However, the best experience we had in the week we stayed in the house was the contact with Johan, the owner. ... wat mensen zeggen » He is a really friendly person who gave us many precious tips about the city (food and tourism) and made us feel like we were home. - A very attractive decoration with home atmosphere cerated by all but specially by Johann-owner. Tasteful South African breakfast (for my friends it was a first time in RSA), no problem with anything we asked for - thanks Johann.

  A friend and myself needed accommodation for one night before our train trip back to Cape Town. We have never been to Johannesburg and surroundings and were extremely delighted with our choice of accommodation. Peaceful surroundings, birdlife, beautiful and comfortable room, large garden with chairs and tables on the patio or outside, and every a... wat mensen zeggen » menity you needed to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We arrived earlier than check-in time due and were immediately offered coffee and a plac - The staff were very friendly and very helpfull in every situation. The water meter had been stollen so we were without water for a good part of a day. The staff made sure we had water and hot water whenever we needed it. Wonderful breakfasts. Nice location in Johannesburg. Would stay again for sure.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived late long after the office staff had gone home. The rooms are designed for self catering, very modern and rather chic. Its walking distance to local eateries so you don't need to drive. Its not too far from Johannesburg centre meaning evening events are accessible with no need to drive down ... wat mensen zeggen » long endless motorways at night. security is quite fine.I would want to stay again. - Fabulous stay indeed. Guiet, ellegant, clean, neat, high standard house keeping, every equipment in working condition and of great quality. Warm welcome by friendly staff. Great bedding etc., infact everything was superb.
