  Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful. Joe and Marius, the owners, are incredibly accommodating. They will stop by breakfast every morning, tell you about the weather, and recommend things to do. Breakfast is wonderful and personalized to your wants. The room we stayed in was lovely and had every amenity we needed. Though it was too c - I stayed at Mountview for 6 nights and my experience was very positive. Joe sat down with me for 30 minutes on the first day and explained about the tours, local stores, safety and all other questions I had knowing that it was my first time in Cape Town. The hotel was kept clean at all times and I had no troubles by commuting to the hotel alone. Also staying at Sea Point (quite neighborhood in a shadow of hill and 5 minute walk to the ocean breath) was exactly what I was looking for in this

  The staff made us feel like we were at home as soon as we got there. The breakfast was very good and a great way to start the day.It was very clean and well kept. The internet worked just fine for us. It was hard to leave. - Very comfortable, well located. It combines a quiet, "off the beaten path" location with a hotel that was within walking distance of all the best of Cape Town. Very helpful front desk with fantastic assistance in all things. A really great hotel and well worth the price.

  This hotel lived up to all our expectations and more. We arrived at 10.30am and expected to just leave our luggage, but we were given our room straight away. All the staff were very accommodating and the room was very pleasant. The road was bellow our room but we did not hear any noise at all. A lovely big bath was a treat.   I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   Before we even arrived we received an informative letter and help in planning our holiday. Staff could not have been more helpful with recommendations and answers to our every question. Carol, the owner is personable and greeted us warmly on our arrival. She took the time to get to know us and tell us a little about herself. Beautiful lobby/study,... wat mensen zeggen » pool, brkfst area and pool. - The staff was wonderful-helped us plan all our day trips, arranged transfers and even packed us a breakfast to go the morning we were leaving since we had an early morning flight. The hotel was spotless and the breakfasts were fantastic! We love the extra attention we get from boutique hotels and this was did no disappoint. I state with my 3 adult children.

  We have never seen a hotel like this, everything was really wonderful. Upon our arrival we were even upgraded (for no additional costs!!) to a Luxury Suite. The stuff was really helpful and very pleasant, rooms and bathrooms were very clean and very spacious. The hotel is situated right in the city centre, just 2-minute walk from Long Street. Also, the hotel arranges airport transfers and the guy who was - The willingness of the staff to find solutions to problems. Our reservation had somehow not come through correctly via letsbookhotel.com and they did not have any rooms left. The offered us a room at another hotel, and eventually they arranged that we could stay in the original hotel but in a larger room than booked.
