  One of the best hotels I staied. View is amazing, very cozy room. At the first minute we felt like home. Good collection of books, there is even a coffe machine for exspressor. Certainly we will come again, if we go to Cape Town. Special word has to be siad about a host. Very nice woman and very helpfull. Internet connexion works perfectly. Very clean. The views to the city are incredible. I strongly recommend this guest house.

  I will not recommend this place because I hate the idea that it will atready be fully booked when I try to book it at my next visit to Cape Town. Stay away!   A well run hotel conveniently located in a quieter part of Sea View. The suites are modern and tastefully decorated although the bedrooms are smaller than the living room area.We also enjoyed a nice sized balcony overlooking the pool and with a sea view. I would like to return for a longer stay. - The staff were friendly,courteous and efficient without being intrusive. They went beyond the call of duty to assist. The hotel itself is what a 5 star hotel is all about, and I have stayed in five star hotels throughout the world,some of which don't match up to this.Would definitely stay there again.

  Highly recommended! Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home. Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay - Excellent location, easy to find and easy to park in front of the house. Great view from the balcony. Complimentary Nespresso coffee, tea, beer and wine. Confortable bed and clean room. Burt is very friendly and giving lot of advices on things to do. I'll come back definitely! - Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.

  We stayed in Cape Standard for 4 nights and had the perfect experience. David and his staff are amazing, very helpful and easy-going and made us feel very welcome. They assist you with everything and recommended really good places to eat where to locals go as well. The room was comfortable and quiet with a nice view and the bathroom was great with... wat mensen zeggen » a big shower. Because the room, was not being used on our last day, they offered us to keep it until our plane left at night which was just great. Br - The outside courtyard is really lovely and peaceful. A great place to have breakfast or relax in the afternoon.

  Blackheath Lodge provides a warm and comfortable atmosphere akin to being at home! It is pleasantly designed around a small, but extremely well cared for and pretty pool area. The breakfast choice is good - English or continental tea/coffee/biscuits are always available. The lodge has a hire car available. The rooms are attractive and very clean. W - This was a delightful place to stay in a lovely tastefully furnished Victorian Lodge. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much to ask during our 4 day stay. The rooms were very comfortable with an excellent shower. Thank you to all the team that work there for making our stay so enjoyable!

  I liked the way staff go out of their way to help with relevant information. That made our stay a very comfortable one. Next time I visit Cape Town I will we consider staying with the Sweet Lemon B&B.
