  Michel and Ursula make a stay at Rouge on Rose feel like you've instantly found a new home and want to move in for a year, not just a few days. The hotel itself is quite stylish without feeling too forced edgy/modern, our room was spacious and like a small studio apt. (We fantasized it would be a perfect pied a terre in Cape Town, as we fell in lo... wat mensen zeggen » ve with the region), the included breakfast is a fine dining experience (especially the amazing omelette souffle topped with bacon and eatent with a g - Great location, great staff. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

  -Parking was clearly marked and in the basement of the building, very secure and free -In general the hotel is very secure needing your room card to access elevators and so on -The room was neat and clean all mod cons -Great big flat screen TV -Awesome comfortable extra length bed -Neat and modern bathroom -Ordered drinks from the bar area and req... wat mensen zeggen » uested ice and so on and the staff were great -Had a modern alarm/fm radio/mp3 player in room which was cool, could pop my iPod -Ample plug points -D - Everything. From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it. When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.
