  I was staying at the Parliament Hotel for 3 nights with my partner some days ago. The hotel is very well situated, near almost everything that tourists would like to see in Cape Town: The Company Gardens, the castle, Greenmarket, Long Street etc. It is only 30 minutes walk for the Waterfront (the port and its shops, the Aquarium etc), and very clo... wat mensen zeggen » se (5 minutes) to the Hop on Hop off buses (double deckers to visit the peninsula: http://www.citysightseeing.co.za/). There are supermarkets quite cl - The staff were excellent I really felt like home, they did everything they could to accommodate all my questions and hopes. They even organized in matter of two hours notice a rental car with a good price and horse riding safari for me and printed all maps for me to find the place even without asking. The restaurant next door that serves also the breakfast has two amazing Italian guys running it, the food is brilliant (absolutely brilliant one of the best pastas and breakfast I've ever gotten

  Primi Oxford House was a gem of a find. Grest location, 15 min walk from Waterfront. What impressed me the most was the look and feel of the modern studio apartment like room I had. Mini kitchenette, very large and cleaned daily bathroom and large bed and living space. It felt like a home away from home. Walking distance from downtown, waterfront, sea point, restaurants along the summerset st, Cape Center mall, etc. Huge and comfortable room with kitchenette. Very clean and quiet. I even found a Laundromat 2 blocks from the hotel. If you drive plenty of parking on the street. Janet and David were very nice as well as the rest of the staff. The free Wi-Fi added more value to the price paid which in comparison to other big hotels is way less. Overall a great little hotel.

  I have stayed for over a month, and have extended my stay for two months more. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. clean facilities, comfortable beds, hot and clean showers and toilets, amazing chill out pool area, nice bar!!! Easy walk into town and waterfront! Peaceful and quiet surroundings, but literally a minute walk to bars and restaurants... wat mensen zeggen » and shopping places. When I come back to SA I will be staying here again! - I loved the staff, they were all friendly and helpful :) The backpackers is located very well, very close to all amneties. I met great friends in my dorm, they were very considerate and great to hang with:) I will recommend the place to anyone visiting Cape Town. It was a great place and lovely vibe.

  One of the best hotels I staied. View is amazing, very cozy room. At the first minute we felt like home. Good collection of books, there is even a coffe machine for exspressor. Certainly we will come again, if we go to Cape Town. Special word has to be siad about a host. Very nice woman and very helpfull.   Almost everything was excellent. Catherine and Michael are running a great job there. They care with everything, prepare you homemade breakfasts, deal with you so much that yo feel like staying at a friend's house in Cape Town. Facilities were sufficient for a bed&breakfast. Location was in a quiet street, not a dangerous environment. A market is ava - The architecture and the furniture, neo-vitorians, keep a strong caracter, in a very charming neighboodhoud situated in a hill turned to the ocean. Hosts Catherine, Craig and Michael, always efficient, kind and available, make a great team. It is fair to say that Michael's breakfasts were one the highlights of my stay in Cape Town.
