Cathy and John are excellent hosts and made our stay very enjoyable. Gave us great restaurant tips and we could just listen to John's storries all day long. We didn't want to leave.   Me, my hubby and 2 year old son had a fantastic stay @ the Coastlands on the ridge hotel. The hotel and rooms (big wow) are elegant and beautifully decorated (we had deluxe room) plus the view from the balcony looking out over durban is stunning. The staff were absolutely wonderful with my son, friendly and always helpfull especially @ reception (... wat mensen zeggen » tony cele god bless you) and the dining area (the lady @ the entrance to the hotels dining area always warm, friendly and welcoming). We were treated - Excellent young staff at all points.They seem to want to help rather than just provide service. The arrival & departure was warm.
