  Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. As others have noted, the breakfast really ... wat mensen zeggen » sets you up for the day. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

  This apartment was perfect. Not too big, and not small, the loft above was wonderful and the view from the window was brilliant - both the city as well as table mountain. Nora, who checked us in, was particularly helpful.   We booked a airport transfer through the guesthouse, who was there waiting for us when we landed. When we arrived at the guesthouse we had a warm welcomefrom a lovely lady who offered us breakfast as we arrived so early. We were able to check in straight away. Mani, the manager was absolutely fantastic and so helpful. He was more than happy to ans... wat mensen zeggen » wer our many questions and help organise and book anything we needed. He really went above and beyond his duties to make our stay as comfortable and e - The guest house is beautifully furnished and offers a great accommodation in easy reach of The Waterfront, Sea point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, and Camps bay. The staff are terrific and particularly Manie and Rayez who couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome. The mattress was excellent - very comfy!! and what a great view of the sea from the verandah

  very good place to stay while exploring Cape Town. Beautiful house, perfect location (close to Table Mountain, just a 10 minute easy drive to Waterfront), great breakfast! We had our last days in SA and we felt very lucky to stay in this guesthouse. Great breakfast! - top location very tasteful interior charming host family like atmosphere
