Highly recommended!
Burt and Bev are wonderfull people who really make you feel at home and let you do your own thing. Basicly the whole top floor is for the guests with great rooms with great views and own lounge/living room with a coffee machine, fruit, fridge with beer and wine. Just like you would have at home.

Clean, comfortable and in an excellent part of Cape Town. The area is safe enough to walk around and just up the road from the sea front. Burt, who is the owner is a wonderful host who will make you feel right at home. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town.

It is easily accessible by car to Table Mtn., the V&A waterfront, and all the highways-40 minutes to Stellenbosch, half that to Cape Town International Airport; walking distance to the Community Gardens and 40+ restaurants. Rick's Cafe is 100 meters, with fabulous Moroccan food, ambiance, and great prices(compared to the States). Returning to our courtyard bedroom was like an oasis in the desert. The manager who went out of his way to make our stay more comfortable by providing an extra room. The hotel is full of character and beautiful - rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything you could need including bottled water. The breakfast was full of variety and delicious. And of course the lovely friendly dogs. -

This place was absolutely wonderful! The staff are extremely friendly and always helpful. It is minutes away (walking) from downtown Cape Town and a 20 minute taxi ride from beautiful Table Mountain, which you have an amazing view of from the hotel itself. Also, there are several wonderful and affordable restaurants right across from the lodge!! -
