  Michel and Ursula make a stay at Rouge on Rose feel like you've instantly found a new home and want to move in for a year, not just a few days. The hotel itself is quite stylish without feeling too forced edgy/modern, our room was spacious and like a small studio apt. This hotel is owner operated and family run. After one day, we felt like we were part of the owners family. Best concierge services I have ever experienced. The owner, Ursula, made reservations, oredered taxis, arranged tours and looked after us. The room was spacious and felt like an apartment. I could not recommend this place more highly

  I usually stay at the Waterfront and only chose the Taj out of neccesity because everyone else was full with Argus bookings. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is an excellent 5 star hotel at a fraction of the cost of some competitors. The city location is vibrant and interesting.   We stayed in the Twin Room with Sea View. Every evening you have a lovely sunset you can view from a spacious balcony. The room itself is big enough. There's a ceiling fan which we didn't use as the outside temperature was pleasant. The bathroom is spacious, with a bath and a separate big shower. Two computers are available in case you haven't brought your own. There's a sma - The location was great - walking distance to a number of bars / restaurants on the sea front. Camps Bay is definitely a great suburb of Cape Town - very trendy with a great atmosphere with the back drop of Table Mountain. The breakfast was great and the home cooked muffins were a nice touch. The staff were extremely helpful - especially after my fiancé sprained his ankle walking up table mountain, providing lots of ice and cool packs!   As there were no other bookings in the main house Elisabeth the owner upgraded us to one of the better rooms upstairs and we had the whole house to ourselves. The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   Peter (who is the owner) is one of the gratest host of all!! I was so happy to meet such a person. So helpful on helping you getting to know the city and all! The lodge is very nice, quite and safe. You feel like you are a family the 2nd day. The breakfast of the lodge can beat many of the five star open buffet because Peter knows good food and ch... wat mensen zeggen » ooses them well. Although I stayed in a room without a bathroom I did not had any problems whatsoever as the bathrooms were al so close to the rooms a - Excellent value-for-money, decent rooms and shared bathrooms are very clean. The staff is extremely nice and will help you with any questions you might have. Breakfast is extra, but good quality. The owner made sure to be very personal and made my stay very pleasurable.
