From the time we checked until we left we were impressed with the courtesy of the staff, the cleanliness and comfort of our room, and the food in the restaurant. The overall hotel premises are well maintained, and we would definitely recommend it. When Hilton take over in April 2013, we hope that they will continue to keep up the high standards of the present management.

  The mountain view from our window was fantastic. The lifts worked very efficiently. Easy access to the parking garage was good. Having a restaurant and shopping facilities close at hand. It was an added benefit to have the breakfast inclusive, which was generous in the selection, and the undergroud parking facilities. A truly delightful experience!

  Not an ultramodern hotel but rather a well maintained hotel with a more genteel feel. The rooms were nicely sized, comfortable bed and kept spotless by the staff. The rooms were well soundproofed so you had no extraneous noise from other rooms. The restaurant was pleasant and the food well above average. The hotel is quite well placed in a slightly quieter part of town next to the parliament buildings but only a 10 minute strol - Staff eager to help us as we arrived early were leaving late and had to leave luggage at hotel. We were upgraded to double rooms with views of Table Top. A cheap taxi ride or walk from all the major city sites. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Compared with our hotel in Rio on the same trip and for the same price Townhouse was streets ahead. Can't wait to go back to Cape Town and when I do there's only one place I'll be staying - The Townhouse.

  The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.

The house is beautifully decorated and great for a group as its self catering.   One of the best hotels I staied. View is amazing, very cozy room. At the first minute we felt like home. Good collection of books, there is even a coffe machine for exspressor. Certainly we will come again, if we go to Cape Town. Special word has to be siad about a host. Very nice woman and very helpfull.   I was staying at the Parliament Hotel for 3 nights with my partner some days ago. The hotel is very well situated, near almost everything that tourists would like to see in Cape Town: The Company Gardens, the castle, Greenmarket, Long Street etc. It is only 30 minutes walk for the Waterfront (the port and its shops, the Aquarium etc), and very clo... wat mensen zeggen » se (5 minutes) to the Hop on Hop off buses (double deckers to visit the peninsula: http://www.citysightseeing.co.za/). There are supermarkets quite cl - The staff were excellent I really felt like home, they did everything they could to accommodate all my questions and hopes. They even organized in matter of two hours notice a rental car with a good price and horse riding safari for me and printed all maps for me to find the place even without asking. The restaurant next door that serves also the breakfast has two amazing Italian guys running it, the food is brilliant (absolutely brilliant one of the best pastas and breakfast I've ever gotten
