A fantastic place to stay in the High Tatras. Wonderful staff, always helpful, friendly and attentive. Lovely pension. We stayed in one of the superior double rooms and it was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, large rom, lovely bathroom, great shower, comfy bed. All great! Location is good for exploring the Tatras and surrounding areas. Restaurant on side was excellent and we ate there every night of our 6 night stay in August and breakfast was lovely too. We were made to feel completely at home the moment we walked through the door. Apartments were big and spacious with wonderful views. We overlooked the town of Poprad which was beautiful at nightime. It was a family run place with tons of history and character dating back to 1920s. A perfect base for exploring the High Tatras. -

Very, very satisfied with this guesthouse. Its situated in quite location, walking distance to village and tram with a breathtaking few. Best part is definitely the breakfast! Eat outside in a front of a restaurant and enjoy looking at the moutains and beautiful flowers.

The Mon Ami was incredibly well located for the train station, local restaurants and ski slopes. We were welcomed and although there had been a mix up and we had only booked a double room our daughter was quickly accommodated with no fuss or problem. Hotel is located on the edge of a small village so you can enjoy serenity and still be close to main attractions. Mountain train can take you to any peaks. The rooms are clean, freshly remodeled and well equipped. There is little restaurant in other hotel that makes the best pork ribs and fresh trout. The owner was very helpful.

The place was exactly as it was described on the website. Nice, quiet surroundings but close to electric railway station, restaurant and shop (5 min walking).
