  It's a refurbished block of flats turned hotel, classic for Russia. As it happened that I enjoyed the city very much, my over all impressions are pretty good. In fact, except for the modest even by Russian standards breakfast, everything was fine. I would underline the location - walking distance to most city attractions - and the price - 45 Euro ... wat mensen zeggen » / night is ok for a city with the same over all prices as Moscow. To summarize - a good deal for a short city trip. - The staffs are nice and helpful and speak English. The non-smoking room I stayed was clean, cozy, and comfortable with amenities and free WiFi. The place is 5 min walk to the central station, the ferry terminal, and the aero-express to the airport. It is also 15 min walk to the center of the city. Probably the best hotel I stayed in Russia.

  Great location. 5 mins from train station. Walk up the hill until you reach the top then take the steps down on the left. Enter through the roof. Very helpful and friendly staff. The lady at the front desk dealt with all our questions politely and in excellent English.
