  * The staff were always very friendly. * All staff spoke reasonable to good English. * The transfers by taxi were efficient and safe given my late arrival. * Breakfast was adequate but not necessarily healthy. Interesting rotation of breakfast from a jam pancake concoction (very sweet) to sausages/frankfurts with ketchup and I think an egg one day... wat mensen zeggen » . The yoghurt was great to have but too sweet for my preference. Choco pies every day (which I admit I kept for a late afternoon energy boost after si - The hotel was very clean, the room was large and the facilities adequate. It was a reasonable price. The hotel is in a good location with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were very helpful.

  The location is very good, it takes about 15-20 minutes to reach the city center if you go by foot and just 5 minutes to the nearest Metro station. Near the hotel you can easily find some small cafes and shops. Actually the hotel ocuppies several rooms in a standard residential house, with the total number of rooms equaling to 6. Though the overal... wat mensen zeggen » l look of the house is not very luxurious (even a vagrant lives in this house), the hotel looks very luxirious. The room is quite big and always clea - We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. Authentic Petersburg style:) It is very cosy, clean and it has really comfortable bed.This part of the city is not very noisy so no disturbance during your sleep. I also liked that breakfast is delivered to your room, no need to get fully ready and dressed before you go to eat - you can enjoy it at the comfort of your own room. The toasts, eggs and sausages were just cooked before serving. Friendly receptionsts - availble 24/7.
