  The staff was lovely. Every single one of them. Although the entrance of the building was a little dodgy, as soon as you enter the hotel, it was a very nice, comfortable and home like interior. We loved staying here, and I am sure, if I come again, I will definitely stay here.   The staff was very polite and understanding. The room was very clean with a maid coming in every day. The location is right next to Nevsky Prospect (1 minute walk). Tip: entrance is from Karavannaya street, after passing the entrance to the backyard you will see a glass sign with golden letters saying "Polikoff Hotel", come in and ring apt. 28 (if... wat mensen zeggen » I'm not mistaken). Breakfast was OK. The room was quite (you don't hear the street from the room). - Excellent position in the middle of the city. Windows are faced to backyard, no noise at all though Nevsky prospect is about 10m away.everyday room cleaning. Polite and obliging personal.
