  Excellent location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room and facilities. We appreciated iron and desk in our room, so as heated floor in the bathroom. We had superior room: spacious, with 2 windows looking to the Moika river. Very calm. Hot and cold water with tea@coffee on every floor. I travelled with 83 years old mother and normally had... wat mensen zeggen » dinner at the restaurant of the hotel, so 20% discount for meals for guests was pleasant addition:-) Love the carefully selelcted details in design, - It is an excellent boutique hotel in a very good location. Everything is close- the Hermitage, Nevsky prospect, the Dome etc. Staff is very friendly, extremely helpful and polite. I'd like to commend Vasili,- an exceptionally professional receptionist. The hotel is full of character, decorated with taste which becomes the old building in the grand part of St. Petersburg. Very clean, has around the clock self-service stand of coffee and tea in the lobby, good internet connection.

  Without a doubt the best thing about this hotel is the location - it is situated right in the historic centre of St. Petersburg, all sights are very close - I managed to visit a lot in a very short time and didn't even have to use Russian public transport (which leaves a lot to be desired!!). The staff were polite, did not speak amazing english, but were - Excellent location near main street and many sightseeing places. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby. Very nice interior design.   Real cool snug off the beaten track where we found way more than just a grateful sense of quiet and seclusion. Btw, sorry, guys whom we woke up with brewing coffee in the small hours but that was so a la en famille and natural. Also, we have mooched an apple from one of the trees in your backyard garden. Victoria our rep was very courteous and helpful, she came to the apartment and went over all the features and also went out of her way to tell us what was nearby.
