  Great service at check in. English speaking staff. The room was not very big, but very comfortable and clean, it seemed as if it was newly decorated. Very good value.   Can't beat the location by the wonderfully updated Gorky Part and the New Tretyakov Gallery. The room and the bathroom were of a decent size recently updated. Metro is around the corner; easy to get to from Vnukovo and Domodedovo. Great dining options are just around the corner; plenty of nice restaurants in the Gorky Park as well. Clean room, nice bed and a good location. The hotel is also near Gorky Park which is a great place to go to on weekend nights and relax from the Moscow rush and see how Russians truly are when they are relaxed.

  For the price I paid I think the single room was more than ok. Clean, new funiture, really warm. The position of the Hotel is really great - just right outside of the 3 metro lines. It's 5-10 min walk to the streat of bars and restaurants with quite reasonable prices (for Moscow) which is called Myasnitskaya. In short words this hotel is good velu... wat mensen zeggen » e for the price you pay. - We selected Ulanskaya hotel as it was close to the Red line, and we came for the rugby tournament held at Luhinski stadium, over a 3 day period. Olga made the stay extremely special, as she helped us in so many ways, and made our trip ore omfortable. She advised us of places to go and to see, arrange airport transfers, and even walked us to the post office.
