We liked Pension Daniel very much. It had great private parking on site and since we had car and luggage to unload this was perfect. Location was very good, just a pleasant 5 minute walk to central square. Owner/manager? was very efficient and helpful, and rooms were large and very clean and comfortable, as well as pleasing to the eye. Cannot say enough good things about Daniel. We wanted to come back and stay again a few days later, but that did not work out.
alle beoordelingen » We spent three nights in this hotel and we are very happy that we chose exactly this one. Very good location - 5-7 minutes to the central square and all center attractions. Very quiet place, clean rooms. Special thanks to receptionist Viki, she was very kind and helpful. Private parking is a big plus. It was very easy to find the hotel if you come from Sighisoara side. If we come next time to Sibiu we will definitely stay in this hotel. The room was big and clean, breakfast ok , but not too diverse. Very close to city center - Piata Mare, like 2 minutes.. which is a great advantage after wandering for hours in the center and at museums. Camera este mare si curata, micul dejun ok , dar nu prea diversificat. Foarte aproape de centrul orasului- Piata Mare , cam 2 minute, ceea ce se poate dovedi un mare avantaj dupa ce hoinaresti ore intregi prin centru si pe la muzee. It had on-site secure parking and was within walking distance of all the main sights of Sibiu. The room was very comfortable; the staff we met were friendly, spoke adequate English and were very helpful; the breakfast was a good cold buffet style and served during a three hour period!. We were greeted in a very helpful way by the manager. The location was ideal in an interesting street in the beautiful old town. The room had nice decor and we enjoyed the outside seating area in the courtyard. A place we would recommend to others. The location. It is just 400 meters from the main square. Sibiu has a series of one-way streets and so finding the way to Pensiunea Daniel can be quite tricky! However, it is easy to get back to the airport from here. There is only one entrance, so both cars and people use the same entrance. The reception area and breakfast place are poorly arranged. Breakfast was rather limited. The fruit was poor quality the first day and non existent on the second. No yogurts on the second day and no eggs of any sort. Our room was on ground floor next to a relatively busy street. Consequences were closed curtains and a trifle of noise at night. The bathroom was showing its age, but was kept clean. Heating control a bit confusing (but working). Although rooms are new renovated the furniture is old. Wireless is really bad. Breakfast was kind of poor. Wireless internet was pretty flaky and slow. Rooms on the street very noisy, no air-condition, very hot in the summer. Very loud noises in the morning;.
