Actually this hotel is not as brash and corny as we expected. Yes its a hotel made to seem like a counts mansion, and yes it has real bear skins, stuffed animals, towers and ramparts, but it is more tastefully decorated than we expected. Its fun, its luxurious and it is certainly value for money.
The restaurant food is worthy of any 4 star hotel

Excelent hotel; 5 min drive to city center. The hotel has great rooms, i had a TERRACE about 15square meters, the hotel restaurant delicious. Cozy rooms with big screen tv LCD. I recommend. -

The apartment was spacious, comfotable and very clean. The location is great, being close to both the Botanical garden and the city centre. -

you could want and the lady was so nice and so helpful. They also

The owner of Transilvania Cowboy Cottage was one of the nicest people I've met, and the family is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel right at home.
The room, I must say,being spacious and outright comfy is an absolute antique masterpiece.
I would definitely recommend staying there for anyone visiting Cluj Napoca.

Nice people in reception -everyone speaks english. The room was clean
and elegant. We have fridge in room - it was really usefull. Breakfast

The apartment we had was very big and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped as well, with a fridge, toaster, coffee machine and even a kettle. The bathroom was large as well, and everything seemed to be new. -

When I saw the 9.6 points on the website. I had thought it was an
exaggerated situation for an apartment. However, when I met dear
landlady and stepped in the place, I stood frozen for some minutes, as I
was in a luxury blended with history in an excellent location of a very
nice town (university square). So I am adding another full 10 points
now.

Everything about the apartment was fantastic, as others have said. I
chose it based on the recommendations here. The rooms are huge with
wonderful high ceilings creating a very airy feel. The kitchen while
small is well equipped and enabled me to prepare a very substantial
Mexican meal for my Grandmother and Aunt who live in Cluj. They loved it
as well. It is right on the central square where bars, cafes,
restaurants and clubs abound. It is a perfect city break spot.
