  Now this, for Norway was value for money. Staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere in the cafe/restaurant, best pizza I've ever had. Couldn't believe the room and the view from the full wall of window, 20 foot high. There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ... It was a great base for the fjord trips and enjoying the city. - The bedroom was clean and a relaxing environment with modern, interesting styling and decoration.   Very contemporary hotel with luxurious lobby. Room was very large, and included a trouser press, coffee machine and small fridge. The bathroom had heated tiles. The breakfast buffet was excellent both in quality and choice. Pancakes were made on the spot with organic maple syrup. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect.
