  Very friendly stall. We rented 3 rooms for our family. The front desk staff immediately upgraded my wife and my room to a deluxe unit. We had asked for quiet rooms so when we arrived around 2 pm, we were asked if we could wait 1-hour for the requested rooms. The breakfast was excellent and the location could not have been better - right next to the central train station. We were only 1- ni - The hotel exudes old-world charm: nice wood wainscotting, lovely wood floors, and Oriental rugs. A large first floor room stays open all day with complimentary coffee, tea, and fruit and a limited menu. Breakfast is fabulous. Whimsical light fixtures in the rooms add a nice touch. A close walk to the center of town. Across the street from the train station and several blocks from the bus station.

There are three flyss buss stops very close - only 40€ to get to downtown Bergen (fish market, the mountain tram, train station) The breakfast was delicious, the room very comfortable - I found the price one of the best in Bergen ... It was a great base for the fjord trips and enjoying the city. - The bedroom was clean and a relaxing environment with modern, interesting styling and decoration.   First of all I loved the staff. Everybody, starting from the reception through the dining room and cleaning staff were friendly, smiling and caring. The location of the hotel was amazing. Watching he sun rise and sun set from the armchair of the living room was a life experience. The bathrooms were nice place to use.   I found the hotel to be well presented despite reading reviews of the rooms being dated. I also had a room at the rear of the hotel overlooking the park which was exceptionally quiet despite reading reviews about noise. Helpful and pleasant staff. We had an internal room & although there was no natural light, it was silent so we slept brilliantly. It was a good size and had everything you would expect. The location is great: very central and it is easy to walk to all the attractions of the city.
