  We loved the area around Frogner House Apt. Classic historical low buildings, lots of small shops and the tram to downtown. Our corner room was lovely, with space for four: mom and three 15-year old girls. Big TV and Kitchen. Our favorite evening was at the thai restaurant Blue Elephant around the corner Great food and bohemian atmosphere. Right around the corner there is a shop open 7-23 and 10 meters further a shop open all night. on 2 min walking distance to the busstop to the center. Nice and safe neighboorhood. Pharmacy around the corner. Some shops in the neighbouring streets. 307 is a large studio in olive and purple with unique old stove. 412 is "large hotelroom size" with green/ brown colors, and a balcony.

  Stayed for a weekend, booked a standard double room for one person via letsbookhotel.com. Nice price, 1800 nok for two nights including breakfast. Finding the hotel is easy, it's next to Stortinget in the centre of Oslo. I contacted the hotel in advance of my arrival, asking for a room with a window towards the street. They responded - Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

  Great location, very close to the city center which you can walk to within 5-10 minutes. I have lived in Oslo 7 years ago and this is my second visit with my family. Because I knew the expensive prices of Norway, I was very satisfied with the price. Also the kitchen and everything was clean and well equiped so I could eat anything from the kitchen... wat mensen zeggen » ! That saved me tons of money which I would have spent for restaraunt food. I read the other comments and was scared of the street noise (or pub noise - Good communication and the check-in procedure was quite convenient. Was sent an e-mail that the apartment is ready, went to the office and got the keys and a map handed to me. This is not a luxurious apartment, but the furniture was quite new when I stayed there. The kitchen is well equipped with tools (pans, knives, a microwave etc.).

  This is n new hotel that was opened in February. In one word it was fantastic. The quality of everything from the decor, to service detail, and food were of the finest quality. The artwork was a collected and hung in almost every corner of the hotel even in the stairwells. Tijdens de uitreiking van de nobelprijs voor de vrede. in het hotel sliepen alle bekende mensen die erbij aanwezig waren waaronder diana ross. helemaal geweldig - in kamer 675 stond er een waterkoker met theezakjes en oploskoffie. heel prettig om te hebben op je kamer. in kamer 630 hadden we dat niet en to... wat mensen zeggen » en viel dat natuurlijk een beetje tegen :-(
