Friendly smart attentive, and willing members of staff from check in to
check out. Staff were the best I have known, primarily as quite chilled
and not overly formal. I simply cannot stand any place where the staff
appear subservient. Here the balance was perfect. Cleanliness 10/10.

When I checked in to this Hotel i didn't like the first room I had, I am very particular in when it comes to colors of my sorounding specially when it comes to the colors of room or colors of the curtain( some people are just like this) I called the reception right away and asked them if they could give me another room with light soroudings...5 minutes later they gave me the room that was just perfect..excellent service..no wonder I am here when I am in Oslo.

Perfect central location. 1 minute from the Parliament, 3 minutes to the Town Hall and harbour. Less than 10 min walk from main train station. Staff very friendly, we even got upgraded from a superior room to a suite. Very clean. Breakfast selection very very good. Free wi-fi included, plus 2 PCs in the lobby connected to a printer, so we managed to check in and print our boarding passes on our last day.

From walking into the lobby and listening to the rock and roll music combined with a lobby looking like no other, I knew my days in Oslo were going to be special. I enjoyed the technology of opening the hotel room and elevator operation to staying in the room watching HDmt. Having the free coffee downstairs along with the pinball machines and iMacs were a great bonus to the hotel experience. And lastly I especially liked the drink selection and prices. Located in a nice area close to the embassy district and well serviced with trams. However, I would recommend the using the city cycle hire network for which there is a stand just across the road. You can buy a card from the tourist information to use these and it is a great way to get around Oslo. The pensjonat is very clean and decorated in a modern style with very friendly and helpful staff.
