  This hotel was fantastic. My first time in Amsterdam and I had heard and read from reviews that the rooms in Dutch hotels were small - not at this hotel! I stayed in a twin room and there was plenty space! Beautiful shower and bath, with a toilet in a separate room. A large window for natural light and many mirrors and wardrobe space, room cleaned... wat mensen zeggen » and fresh towels every day. Food was great and buffet breakfast too. Sauna was fantastic as was the swimming pool. Hotel was a two-minute walk to th - I would surely recommend this hotel. It is very elegant, clean, the stuff is professional and nice and helpful.we came to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday which was a surprise for him.before our come I told the hotel stuff that this was a very important travel and occasion for us. We got the card with an birthday invitation for 2 to the sky bar for drinks-it was very nice of the hotel, cause in many other places they kept on 'forgetting' about special request, but not here!!   I read about this hotel from Wall Paper. As a close follower of the publication, as well as being obsessed with design hotels, when Wall Paper rates it as one of the best new location in 2012, it became my primer task to check it out, hence, when the opportunity came, I checked into this hotel without a heart beat. I think for all the design hotel... wat mensen zeggen » magnets, it has all the right elements: old music school converted into modern design hotel, all the designer furnitures and culinary, good variety o - The service was outstanding - staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgable and really went out of their way. The building itself is spectacular - the architectural design and merging of old and new to create a dynamic lifestyle experience with the comfort of the new and the charm and character of the old.
