  We stayed here for 2 nights on the advice of our guidebook which said that this riad is absolutely perfect and I would have to agree! It’s a beautifully decorated riad, with friendly and helpful staff who speak English. They have a fireplace which was nice in February in the mountains and the room had a good heater. Very easy to find and well- mar... wat mensen zeggen » ked – though I’d recommend coming from Bab Souk as the riad is a bit closer to this than other medina entrances. Possibly the nicest roof of any riad - The staff was incredibly helpful....we were coming to Chefchaouen by private car and were unable to find our way to the entrance ....one of the guys came down to the town....bopped in our car and led us to the parking area and helped us take our bags to the Dar. The breakfast is hearty and fresh...much more than a typical carb overload...and the ambiance is lovely; fireplace going in the chilly morning...great terrasse to relax and take the sun in the afternoon . Great value and quite charming

  I searched for a while for a suitable hotel, normally my husband and I book into a 5 star resort or luxury self catering when we have the children (2,6) with us. This trip was adults only and I wanted accommodation that really represented the best of Morocco. Dar Sultan definitely delivered! We spent a lot of time chilling out in our roof top room with undeniably the best view of th - The rooms were uniquely furnished with colorful textiles, rugs and antiques. Treats were left for guests each day and rose petals scattered about on the bedclothes. The rooftop lounge area gave good views. Location quiet and convienient. Included breakfast was to die for. Real care was taken for our every comfort. Very clean and charming house cat.

  This is a beautiful little "dar" on the north side of Chefchaoen. We stayed in a triple and found it very affordable. Very easy walk up to the mosque, which we highly recommend. Traditional Moroccan decor, gorgeous little fountain in the living room. We stayed in the summer time and found it to be not too hot at all -- can't attest to winter.   I really liked Elias and his staff. Everybody was so nice and incredibly helpful. Twice we got lost, first when we got there, and 2nd when we went to explore the old medina and got all turned around, and Elias came to our rescue both times. I would highly recommend Casa Elias anyday! - The owner,Elias is the nicest person we have met in Morroco. It was freezing at the night in chefchaouen, but he brought us 2 heaters. He also helped us book bus tickets to Fez. The rooms were clean and we'll decorated, enough space for 6 people. Wifi connection was also fine. And from the terrace, you can see the fine view of the town.

  The breakfast was delicious, the owner herself was brilliant and very helpful and friendly. The location is great for visiting the old medina and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. The design of the house and the garden resembles the true and historical image of how Tangier was a huge crossing point between Europe and Africa. Highly recommended.

  Casa Hassan is outstanding, clean, friendly people and very artistic. I have stayed there on many occasions while living in Spain and would highly recommend it. Food is good in their downstairs restaurant and the entire riad is representing the artisanal of morocco.
