  This boutique hotel is located literally steps away from the historical Kasbah district within, and at the upper end of the Medina. Its in a quite but perfect location for walking around the old town and port/harbour area.   Arguably one of the best hotels hotels I have ever stayed at with the absolute best customer service I have ever received. The staff was BEYOND helpful and willing to help us with whatever we needed. They even had a driver for hire, Khalid, who was truly an amazing person. The rooms were always spotless and cleaned every day. Our clothes were folded and they even was - I have been to many places in different countries. Mnar Castle is one of the very good choices. The Receptionist girl was thorough professional who handled many guests at the same time. Facilities were excellent. Construction was new and apartment as well as stuff was fresh and clean. location is also best as it oversees a unique place where two oceans meet. lovely morning and evening view.

  The rooms were large and we had a seafront room with a large balcony. Large beds (actually 2 pushed together) that can easily be made twin beds. Large bathroom with a bathtub. The swimming pool was being prepared for the summer during our visit but looked nice. Plenty of choice for breakfast. The hotel is at the far end of Tangier beach, so a car or taxi required to get to the medina, shops and restaurants. There was a m - I loved the facilities. The room was big, with two bathrooms and all the little things that make tourists happy (robes, slippers, body lotion, etc.) Very fancy hotel! The breakfast was okay. The hotel is next to the beach and has a swimming pool. That part of the beach is not very clean though.

  We found one of the reception-foyer staff so helpful. He carried our four cases to our 3 separate rooms; helped me park and exit my large car in the small hotel garage;advised us on shopping and places of interest;arranged a surprise taxi tour of Tangier and surrounding area, all without holding his hand out for payment. Unfortunately I do not ha... wat mensen zeggen » ve this gentleman's name to acknowledge him properly, but he is constantly on duty, so cannot be missed. Central position. Clean rooms. Tasty dinners. - Mustafa at front desk was incredibly helpful overall, especially re: my luggage which didn't arrive on my flight into Casblanca before we took train to Tangier. He helped suggest where to buy some clothes, helped with phone calls to the airlines and shared other tips to help. The location made our daily walks to the Medina and other highlights easy, and the room was very comfortable at a great price.

  While the Dar Bouanani was basic, it was clean, tasteful and well-located to the medina and beaches. A great place if you're on a budget and travelling with friends. Staff is friendly and helpful.
