  I had a great time at Riad d'Or. It was exactly the type of accommodation I was looking for: one representing the legendary Moroccan hospitality. This means for me good food, laid-back atmosphere, water presence, beautiful Arab decoration, smiling ladies and attentive gentlemen. They would go up from the reception till the roof - Tthe “Superior Quadruple Room” (the Pacha room if you are looking at the riad’s website) easily accommodated two married couples (one double bed and two twin beds that the staff had pushed together) in somewhat separated/private areas. The room also had a comfortable couch on which a short person or child could sleep. The common areas of this riad are among the most intricately, ornately, and opulently decorated (in a good way) of any in which I have stayed. Lots of hot water. Staff was friendl

  Auberge La Source is placed just in front of the big erg.Hassan´s family is very nice and the service is perfect. Breakfast and dinner were included and they were always big and very delicious. We stayed there only one night but we have many unforgetable memories - sunset in dessert with cammels and our perfect guide Mohamed (thanks a lot, Moha... wat mensen zeggen » med, it was really a beautiful experience). We can highly recommend this Auberge to other visitors. You will be very happy there. Ivana and Vladimir - La Source is located in the small village of Hassi Labied, a 15min drive from Merzouga and a short walking distance from the Great Dune of Erg Chebbi. The view is wonderful from their terrace. The auberge is clean and welcoming, brothers Omar and Said treated us as real friends and their sisters cooked the best tagines. We would love to go back to La Source and definitely recommend you to choose them.

  On a hill overlooking the town and has a nice view from the room balcony. The inside is very nice, and the room feels very cosy with the wooden walls. Don't miss the motorbike ride it is great. - The design, decoration and facilituies is just awsome. Spa is one of the best. Location and weather is very interesting. The people are very warm.

  The staff were welcoming and friendly and were always ready to help. Nothing was too much trouble - a real 'family' feel to the hotel, although they have 10 rooms I think. The rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated with a real eye for detail.   Beautiful hotel. Helpful staff. Excellent location very near Medina, but not in the midst of the ruckus. - It's a new riad and very pretty and unique inside. It's worth to stay there for the experience. It's right next to the medina (old town). All staff were very friendly.

  We stayed for one night. The location is great for an overnight stop between Merzouga and Fes. The Riad is not difficult to find - the are many signs along Midelt's main road showing the direction to the riad. We walked into the centre of town, which is about a 15 minute walk. The staff seems to constantly be cooking and baking. We ate dinner at the riad. T - The Riad provided a comfortable, convenient, most appealing place to stop for a night on the long drive from Fes to Ait ben Haddou. It's on the outskirts of the city, and delightfully quiet. We could sleep with the windows open, to feel a cool breeze off the nearby hills. The young woman who manages the Riad was courteous, welcoming, and most efficient.   Beautifully restored and decorated riad with a very friendly and helpful housekeeper. Note that the housekeeper has very limited English, but my high school French was sufficient to communicate easily with her. - It's located in the Medina, but not on the busy part of it.   This place has a really good location for those travelling by car. Located at Meknes Medina, just 7 minutes walk from the main square and 3 minutes from medina markets, it has a private car parking just in 100 meters nearby, thus you can come by car and leave it in a safe place. Riad is being run by an Englishman (to whom it might be important), a - The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

  Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... wat mensen zeggen » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  Chez Youssef was absoluut het beste verblijf dat we in Marokko hebben gehad. De sfeer is erg gemoedelijk en rustig en de inrichting is erg leuk en traditioneel. Alle voorzieningen zijn gewoon goed. De bedden zijn groot en goed, de douche is warm en zowel het diner als het ontbijt zijn prima verzorgd. Youssef is zelf een leuke gastheer die altijd v... wat mensen zeggen » oor je klaar staat en niet te opdringerig is. De zandduinen zijn op loopafstant en ook het overnachten in de woestijn is erg leuk om te doen. - Ontzettend vriendelijke eigenaar uissef. Niets was hem teveel. Hij koestert zijn Hotelletje en is er apetrots op. Het is heel " lokaal" gelegen en op loopafstand van de kleine duinen. Je kunt bij hem ook naar een bivak in de duinen per kameel en 4 x4. Hij berekent dan niet de 2 e nacht verblijf. Het ontbijt is heel goed en het avondeten ook. De badkamer is eenvoudig, maar alles funktioneert. Geen alcohol!! Prijs/kwaliteit meer dan goed.
