  The building itself is breathtaking, the staff friendly, more than helpful, and very professional. The breakfasts and dinners were exceptional -- I appreciated the convenience of being able to have dinner there. It was too cool to try the pool, but the lounge area was a sanctuary after a busy day walking the souks. - We loved this hotel.   we were very impressed with the ryaid and its staff. It's well presented with lovely intricate detail and immaculate inside. The breakfast is amazing, we felt very spoilt. We sat there as dish after dish was brought out. Really beautiful architecture right in the Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge 10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a small-taxi there for 2eur.

  Wonderfull Riad at the quieter border the medina with very lovely and helpfull staff. We enjoyed our stay of 3 nights so much! The Riad was a real arabian Palace and we felt like some Sultans or Scheichs :) We will come back definitly! We have seen some other Riads at fes but nothing was so amazing like that.   We stayed two weeks in Marocco traveling from city to city! But!! Dar Bensouda was by far the best! We had hotels which costed a lot (!) more money and Werent so excellent like this one! Fantastic rooms! Super clean! The best Moraccane breakfast! Said the manager did everything for us to feel well! You can talk to him at any time. His English is v... wat mensen zeggen » ery good and he so nice! Really, in this old Imam riad you feel like a king! It's a bit hidden in the medina but after one day it was no problem to fi - The hotel is so spectacular it is difficult to describe. Directly in the Medina (Old City, the oldest Medina in Morocco). It is a former residence of an Imam from the 17th century and could be described as a palace. A rooftop terrace, inner courtyards and gardens, and even a swimming pool in one of the courtyards. The manager, Said, speaks several languages and was extraordinarily helpful, even having one of the staff wash our clothes (we were traveling via motorcycle through Morocco). We were
