This place is fantastic! Really beautiful architecture right in the
Medina, which means you can do most of the sightseeing by foot. We had
dinner there for 25eur pp, which I think is expensive but the food was
truly amazing. Breakfast was excellent as well. I wish I could stay more
time! We hired a guide through them for 25eur, which was ok. They charge
10eur for a transfer to the train station in a grand-taxi, but we took a
small-taxi there for 2eur.

with rain shower head was a great feature. Our bed was very comfortable
and our room (Alia) was large. Breakfast is sufficient with some
variations day to day. We were there for 3 nights so we would not want

Riad Layla is on the edge of the Medina, but it is only a few minutes
walk from the blue gate. The terrace has a fantastic view of the old
Medina. The breakfast every morning is wonderful, and each of the staff
is extremely friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 days, and
we extended another day of stay in Fez. Both Chaimae and Iolanda speak
fluent English and are gracious in providing us tips around the Medina.
They are exceptionally wonderful hosts. The riad is beautiful, clean,

like home. It is located in the heart of the Riad which opens a new

Then you get to see the luxurious surroundings while you are shown to your room. We stayed in the "Les amantes de Grenade" which is suited to host a king. The swimming pool is fascinating, specially at night time and we also got to meet one of the cats and turtles.
All decorations are fascinating -
A truly fabulous and beautifully presented Riad in a superb location.
The price is fairly high for this area, but the benefits are relaxation in luxurious surroundings. Extremely helpful and attentive staff with the added bonus of a delightful food menu.
