  A delightful stay with wonderful and friendly staff. Location is away from the hustle and bustle which was a nice reprieve and handy to get to with a vehicle. Dinner was amazing and well worth the price (we are dinner there twice - the Tagine was fabulous). Breakfast was also lovely. The staff is nice and helpful. I recommend to have a dinner in the Ryad - the cooking is excellent. The location near a door of the Medina allowed to arrive by car or taxi without getting lost. A good choice at a decent price.

  The ryad is absolutely beautiful and a peaceful oasis from the madness of the medina just outside. The staff were wonderful, and the owner was very helpful in giving us advice on enjoying our stay. He organized our pickup and return to the train station and also a side trip we took. The gourmet dinner we had in the ryad was fantastic. - The Ryad Salama is as perfect as it gets, beautiful location, garden with peaceful fountain and gorgeous Moroccan decor, beautifully appointed rooms, amazingly talented and hands on owner who is also a gourmet chef, who made my wife and I the most amazing 5 course dinners each night. We can't rave about our experience there enough! Hats off to Michel, an extremely hard-working owner who makes it all seem effortless!!!!

  My girlfriend and I stayed in the Riad end of May 2013 after a recommendation of friends. It is a beautiful Riad with very very friendly staff. Christian and Driss have taken good care of us. The breakfast is great, lots of fresh products and home made yogurt and good coffee in the sun on the terrace. I would recommend the riad to everybody who want - Christian, Dris and the team are amazing, very friendly and welcoming. They are always willing to accommodate. The facilities are excellent. the roof terrace offers a great view over the medina. The rooms are huge and very stylish and the ensuite Bathroom is large. Nice lounges on the ground floor so you can get out of the sun on the hottest of days. Thanks again guys

Agnes heeft alles keurig geregeld: gidsen, taxi's, bagagedragers: allemaal tot op de minuut strak geregeld. Agnes was een paar dagen vrij, maar de andere dames hebben voor een geweldig vriendelijk en gastvrij verblijf gezorgd. Als je het netjes vraagt schenken ze zelfs een biertje aan het zwembad...   The Riad is tastefully designed and the decor is chic. Modern feeling with rain shower head was a great feature. Our bed was very comfortable and our room (Alia) was large. Breakfast is sufficient with some variations day to day. We were there for 3 nights so we would not want to eat the same thing 3 times in a roll. Staff was very thorough with in - Riad Layla is on the edge of the Medina, but it is only a few minutes walk from the blue gate. The terrace has a fantastic view of the old Medina. The breakfast every morning is wonderful, and each of the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We originally booked for 2 days, and we extended another day of stay in Fez.
