  In augustus hebben we 2 hele fijne overnachtingen gehad in dit prachtige riad. Wat we ontzettend goed vonden was de locatie (midden in medina en op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden/kust), het personeel (ontzettend behulpzaam, bij inchecken krijg je een kaartje van essaouira waarop iemand van het personeel de belangrijkste punten aanstipt),... wat mensen zeggen » het heerlijke ontbijt (erg divers, met Europeaanse invloed, wat na 2 weken reizen wel weer eens lekker was), het prachtige dakterras (met uitzicht ov - Het is mooi, uiterst verzorgd Riad met een heerlijk dakterras op een goede locatie.   Our 7 days stay in The Chems Bleu was amazing. Room ,we had Dunette Double Room, was clean (they cleaned it every day + towels changing) and with beautiful view to the ocean. Everything was fine and it worked. Breakfast were very tasty and we enjoyed it every day! Riad´s personnel was very kind, friendly and helpf - This place is a little gem, right in the heart of the medina in an ideal location. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. We stayed in the room right on the top floor with the roof terrace. It is the smallest room in the riad but still plenty of space. The bathroom is small but adequate with a fantastic powerful shower with plenty of hot water. Our room was immaculate and cleaned every day, with fresh towels which were quite large for a hotel room.   We had a very warm welcome and were given a free city map with excellent suggestions for restaurants. We had a nice private room for three people with a little balcony and the wifi was great. In short, we had a great visit to Essaouira and would highly recommend staying at Vent Des Dunes.   Riad was perfectly located to everything in Essouria. Annie was exceptionally hospitable and friendly and made for a perfect host at Dar el Paco. The Riad itself was wonderful and the room was comfortable and clean with a large kitchen and comfortable dining area for breakfast or reading and chatting to other guests if you wished to do so. The power shower was hot which was amazing after a week of cold showers elsewhere. We were made to feel really welcome when we arrived. Would definitely stay again! Essaouira is beautiful and a refreshing change to the craziness of Marrakesh!

Breakfast on the roof terrace was fantastic, with the odd seagull landing on the window nagging for food.

  The location was good and it was very easy to find the hotel. The staff was very friendly - they gave us very accurate information about the town (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). We also liked the breakfast on the nice roof terrace. And the wifi network was much better then in our 5-star hotel in Marrakech!!
