We had a cabana right on the beach, maybe 50 feet from the water. The beach, water, and view were breathtaking. The ocean breeze was great to keep us from being too hot. It's perfect, if you value the raw beauty of nature, over amenities. The staff was super nice & the food & cocktails were really good, even by my spoiled NYC standards

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed every minute at the Hemingway. The location is outstanding, the breakfast (included) and the food delicious, and the staff very attentive and friendly indeed. The owner, Paola, was fantastic. Wonderful place for pets too. Looking forward to coming back to the Hemingway when we get a chance!

The ocean view room was spectacular. Simple small room. Grounds were kept in excellent shape. After sunset they have roaming guards with flash lights protecting the property entrance from the beach (no fences) that definitely provided much needed safety reassurance since communal bathrooms/showers in the middle of the night can be a little intimidating/dangerous especially for female guests. With that being said all guests were friendly and safety was the LEAST of our concerns.

Upon arrival the staff greeted us and introduced themselves. The atmosphere was laid back and the staff really made you feel at home. Everyone was do sweet and friendly. The owner Karla was very gracious, introducing herself to patrons and gave us reccomendations on what to do/see, etc. The staff feels like family. Not stuffy and the grounds are beautifully kept. The restaurant has a nice variety of things to eat and they have a brick pizza oven. Also, The wifi was great and kept me connected.

Nice and quiet spot, bit far away from the beach but that's no issue
if you have a bike, if not, taxis are cheap and everywhere. We felt at
home and decided spontaneously to stay one more day which was no problem
at all even if we got the last room so the hotel was fully booked. Very
nice hosts! Would definetely come back -

We liked everything about the Itour. If we have to write all the things we liked, first of all, the staff is fantastic. They treat guests as their true friends. We felt very sad leaving there. We stayed for one night on July 2013. Itour is right in a busy intersection, in front of supermarket, very close to Tulum archeological site, the beaches and a few blocks from local restaurants. OM cabanas is a small and cosy place. Located near the end of the playa road, It is a 10 rooms only resort. Quiet and Peaceful. Rooms were really beautiful but were not facing beach. But it is a not a problem here. Staff was always helpful and friendly and they offer free coffee. Didn't have the chance to try the food really.Good options for snorkeling and scuba diving.

It was the best hotel on our tour through Yukatan. Centrally located in Tulum with easy access to the beach by taxi or bike. Great hotel, really clean and individually decorated. We really enjoyed the hammock on our own balcony! Great!!! -
