  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. At full moon the staff spent all day setting up tables and chairs on the beach and in the eve - beautiful and spacious rooms with great service, food was pricy but then again it is a 5 star so u got to pay the price i guess. we felt pampered , loved our stay.. hats off to the management and staff ...

  The standard room with mountain view I got is spacious and comfortable. There are swimming pool, stream room and sauna. Breakfast offers variety choices from western to local dishes. Most of them are tastety and delicious, especially pudding (don't miss it). The hotel locates in the heart of Kuah city. We were greeted when we arrived at the hotel lobby and the staff helped us with the luggage.. My family and I were very happy upon checking in the hotel room.. Room was clean, tidy and neat.. We stayed at the 12th floor facing the sea view and the view was awesome.. As for breakfast, the food served were average.. Not much variety.. There's a bazaar in front of the hotel and you can find cheap souvenirs there.. I would come back again to this hotel if I

Kregen bij aankomst direct een upgrade naar een chalet zonder bijbetaling een schitterend gelegen vrijstaand huisje tegen de heuvel met zeegericht groot balkon met 2 lig-en gewone stoelen, mooie grote kamer met airco en fan en grote badkamer.   great family stay, definitely will stay in this hotel again, the children loved the swimming pool which looks like a real beach, we spend a whole day in the resort and not bored there is lots of activities to do and enjoy the surrounding, great staff :) , arranged mangrove trip with hotel and guide which is a must and really worth the money - I r... wat mensen zeggen » eally loved the hotel & finds it great for honeymoon, my plan was to stay only for 2 nights and then moved to other hotel, but after I experienced the hotel I extended my stay to 5 nights. Honestly it was the best thing in the island.

During the check in they even provide a massage.Welcome drink. 2) Staff: Friendly, fast, extremely customer oriented, always pending for guest needs. Excelent English and attention on the phone. 3) Swimming pool: AWESOME. Even - My wife and I had the most relaxing and amazing vacation at the Danna. From the minute you check in till check out, the hotel staff are extremely attentive and always approachable. It was my wifes birthday and the entire hotel staff including housekeeping made her day extremely special, from suprising her at breakfast and decorating our room with balloons and cake.
