  My husband and I spent 5 days at the Datai. I've stayed in many hotels over the years but I can honestly say, that I enjoyed my stay at the Datai more than any other hotel I've ever stayed in. I felt a sense of peace being close to nature and the sea. All the staff were wonderful and couldnt do enough to make our stay comfortable. At full moon the staff spent all day setting up tables and chairs on the beach and in the eve - beautiful and spacious rooms with great service, food was pricy but then again it is a 5 star so u got to pay the price i guess. we felt pampered , loved our stay.. hats off to the management and staff ...

  The most important thing I have noticed aside from the beautiful nature, is the friendly staff. From the moment we reach the airport and a young smiley man called Azmil as far as I remember who gave us a gray information about what to Do, and once we reached the resort we have been met by another very smiley and friendly Angung who took us to make... wat mensen zeggen » the check in from the jetty to the reception , and found a great room facing the sea and a room with well prepared cake for our anniversary . And I c - It was a great experiance at the TAJ - Rebak Island resort from the time of check -in to our check-out- every thing was taken care so well, the staff at TAJ is amazing and so Hospitable, especially their Guest service Relations Executive MS. Pantea Rodd who took care of me and my family requets.. would highly recommend this property and would love to come back and stay @ TAJ Rebak Island Resort !!!

Most of them are tastety and delicious, especially pudding (don't miss it). The hotel locates in the heart of Kuah city. We were greeted when we arrived at the hotel lobby and the staff helped us with the luggage.. My family and I were very happy upon checking in the hotel room.. Room was clean, tidy and neat.. We stayed at the 12th floor facing the sea view and the view was awesome.. As for breakfast, the food served were average.. Not much variety.. The bed was large and comfortable. Kregen bij aankomst direct een upgrade naar een chalet zonder bijbetaling een schitterend gelegen vrijstaand huisje tegen de heuvel met zeegericht groot balkon met 2 lig-en gewone stoelen, mooie grote kamer met airco en fan en grote badkamer.   Amazing location - it's far away from other hotels (except Datai) in one of the most wonderful seashore I've ever seen, a lot of green around so as you live like in the wild tropical forest with beautiful sea-view. A lot of animals that live really in front of hotel but they all are really friendly to you (monkeys, geckos, beautiful birds, squirel... wat mensen zeggen » ls, flying lemurs etc). Restaurants are very goo (especially Fish restsurant with a very fresh seafood that local fishermans bring there 3 times a wee - -Local staff is extremely friendly, and they work well together as a team. They even know details about our personal preferences, which is the kind of service that money cannot buy. The spg is extremely lucky to have that team, and it is clear that many of them have been there for a long time. -Ramadan buffet was really good value for money. - Complimentary fruits and wine to the room were unexpected, and meant a lot to us. -Being flexible to the customer (arranging early dinner at short notice
