  When we stayed here there was some renovation going on at the hotel, complete with scaffolding. By the time we left, they had finished and were removing the scaffolding. Despite that, it was a great place to stay. The rooms were small by Western standards, but I found them quite comfortable and clean. There was a small fridge, a hot water pot, bat... wat mensen zeggen » hroom with a hot shower/bathtub and an awesome heated toilet seat (complete with all the other bells and whistles that are common in Japan), a robe, s - Hotel has a nice comfortable and clean rooms. It is located about 15 minutes walk from Asakusa subway station or Kuramae station. Tourist attractions are within easy reach via subway or walking distance. Sky Tree tower is only about 15 minutes walk, Sumo Museum is 10 minutes' walk away. You can prepare your meal in the room, which has an electric kettle, microwave oven, stove. It was our second stay at the hotel and we're gonna always be satisfied. The room rate was very good.

  Ace Inn Shinjuku is perfect if you're a foreign solo traveller. There are many other foreign guests and the 9th floor is good to socialise on.   The proprietor stayed up late (close to midnight) for us because our plane arrived around 10:15 P.M. I had sent an email to him letting him know about our late arrival. The room and linen were very clean and the tea was delicious. I'm glad my daughter-in-law had the experience of sleeping on tatami. I like the bath room too:)
